Fruit crumble recipe

  • Yield: 6 Servings

Ingredients

  • 4 cups of any fruit that may be a bit bruised that can be peeled, cut and stewed like apples, plums, feijoas or a mix of what you have
  • 3 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 cup plain flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 50 grams butter
  • ¼ cup sugar
How to Make It
  1. In a large pot of water add peeled and cut fruit, boil until soft. Drain and pour into a large ovenproof dish. Sprinkle with brown sugar, Sift flour and baking powder into a bowl.
  2. Cut in butter until it looks like rough breadcrumbs. Stir in white sugar and spoon mixture over fruit. Bake at 180C for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
