Chicken tikka masala recipe

A staple in England by way of Thailand. Great curry dish.

  • Yield: 4 Servings
  • Preparation Time: 8 Hours 30 Minutes

Ingredients

  • 2 lb cubed chicken
  • 2 cups tomato sauce
  • 1 cup coconut milk
  • 1 tablespoon grated ginger
  • 2 tablespoons cumin
  • 1 tablespoon garam masala
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 teaspoons paprika
  • 2 minced garlic cloves
  • ½ tablespoons turmeric
  • ¼ teaspoons red pepper flake
  • 1 teaspoon coriander
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/3 cup chopped cilantro
How to Make It
  1. Place all ingredients except the heavy cream, cilantro and lemon in the slow cooker and stir well. Cook on low for 8 hours.
  2. Add the cream and lemon juice and cook for 30 more minutes. Serve over rice.
