Broccoli stem pickle recipe

  • 2 to 3 stems of broccoli
  • 2 teaspoons rice vinegar
  • ¼ teaspoon finely minced garlic
  • 1 chilli, thinly sliced
  • Pinch of ground coriander Pinch of salt
  • Pinch of sugar
  • Drizzle of sesame oil
How to Make It
  1. Use a vegetable peeler and peel the tough outer layer of the stem to expose the lighter colored, tender stem. Cut the stem into 2 to 3-inch (5 to 7.5-cm) sections and then thinly slice lengthwise.
  2. In a bowl, toss the stem sections with the remaining ingredients and serve as a condiment at the table.
