This simple topping can be enjoyed on a great variety of cakes. It goes particularly well with the Red Velvet Chocolate Beet Cake, Honey Spice Cake, and Gingerbread Cake.

  • Yield: 5 ½ cups whipped cream


  • 3 cups cold heavy cream
  • 3 tablespoons maple syrup
How to Make It
  1. In a large bowl using an electric mixer or a whisk, whip the cream and maple syrup until soft peaks hold.
