Bananas foster recipe

Bananas in a devilishly rich sauce. To keep the bananas from getting mushy, get some that are still slightly green and unripe.

  • 3 peeled and sliced bananas
  • ¼ cup melted butter
  • ¾ cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons rum
  • 2 tablespoons brandy
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • ¼ teaspoons cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons banana liqueur
  • Vanilla ice cream
How to Make It
  1. Slice the bananas and place at the bottom of a slow cooker.
  2. Combine the remaining ingredients, except the ice cream, in a bowl and pour over the bananas.
  3. Cook for 2 hours on low. Serve topped with vanilla ice cream.
