Toffee apple smoothie recipe

  • 1½ medjool dates, pitted
  • 50 g unsweetened apple sauce
  • 4 teaspoons pure maple syrup
  • Pinch of ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup (250 ml) semi-skimmed milk
  • 100 g low-fat plain yoghurt
  • Ice cubes
How to Make It
  1. Place the dates in a heatproof bowl, cover with boiling water and leave to soak for 30 minutes to soften. Drain.
  2. Place the dates, apple sauce, maple syrup, cinnamon, milk, yoghurt and ice cubes in a high-powered blender and blend until smooth.
  3. To serve, pour into a glass or shaker.
