Peppermint hot chocolate recipe

This is another awesome trick to get the flavor and benefits of peppermint without adding any sugar.

  • Yield: 1 Serving


  • 1 cup almond milk or other lactose-free milk (or ½ cup coconut milk and ½ cup almond or other lactose-free milk)
  • ¼ teaspoon peppermint extract
  • 2 heaping teaspoons unsweetened cacao powder
How to Make It
  1. Heat the milk in a small saucepan over low heat or in a milk-frothing machine.
  2. Add the cacao powder and peppermint extract and whisk to combine. Do not let boil.
