Grilled beef tenderloin with horseradish-walnut sauce recipe

Even on the nights when you don’t feel like cooking, a restaurant-quality meal is still within reach. These quick cooking steaks rubbed with fresh thyme and garlic and topped with a creamy sauce will delight your palate and leave you satisfied. Grill zucchini strips with the steak for a super-simple side.

  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh thyme
  • 2 teaspoons olive oil
  • 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
  • 1⁄4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 4 (4-ounce) beef tenderloin steaks (about 3⁄4 inch thick)
  • Cooking spray
Horseradish-Walnut Sauce
  • 2½ tablespoons light sour cream
  • 2½ tablespoons light mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped walnuts, toasted
  • 1 tablespoon finely chopped green onions
  • 2 teaspoons prepared horseradish
  • 1⁄4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
How to Make It
  1. Prepare grill.
  2. Combine first 5 ingredients in a small bowl; rub herb mixture over steaks. Place steaks on a grill rack coated with cooking spray. Grill 3 minutes on each side or until desired degree of doneness. Serve with Horseradish-Walnut Sauce.
