- Yield: 2 Servings
- 2 bananas
- 25 g butter
- ½ lemon or lime juice
- 25 g walnuts or pecans, roughly chopped
- 2 thick slices of crusty white bread
- 2 tbsp maple syrup
- Salt and pepper
How to Make It
- Slice the bananas lengthways. Melt the butter in a frying pan and slide in the bananas, squeezing the lemon or lime juice over them. Cook until soft and slightly golden on both sides, then transfer to a plate.
- Add the nuts to the pan and lightly brown. Meanwhile, toast the bread. Load the banana mixture on to the bread, followed by the nuts, and drizzle the maple syrup over.
