    If you’re looking for a delicious yet unique appetizer, try Prosciutto Ripieno. This delightful appetizer is quick, delicious, and a definite crowd-pleaser. You can also choose to substitute the ham for turkey slices or even capicollo.

    • Cooking Time: 15 Minutes

    Ingredients

    • 8 slices of black forest ham
    • 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
    • 250 grams soft white ricotta cheese
    • 125 grams baby spinach
    • ½ small onion, finely diced
    • ½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese
    • 1 garlic clove, minced
    • salt and pepper to taste
    How to Make It
    1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
    2. Place the ham slices in muffin trays and set aside.
    3. In a skillet, heat the oil over medium heat. Sauté the garlic and onion until soft.
    4. Add spinach and sauté until tender.
    5. Transfer the mixture to a bowl. Add the ricotta cheese and half of the mozzarella.
    6. Season with salt and pepper to taste; stir together.
    7. Spoon an even amount of mixture into each ham cup. Top with remaining mozzarella.
    8. Cook for about 15 minutes or until mozzarella is just browned.
    9. Arrange the stuffed ham on a platter and serve.
