    Mermaid milkshake recipe

    Ingredients

    Topping
    • 2 cups whipping cream
    • 1 tsp vanilla extract
    • 2 Tbsp confectioner’s sugar
    • Purple food coloring
    • Chocolate Seashell Truffles
    • Chocolate Mermaid Tails
    Milkshake
    • 2½ cups vanilla ice cream
    • 1 cup milk
    • 1 tsp vanilla extract
    • Blue food coloring
    How to Make It
      Make the Topping
    1. Beat the whipping cream with an electric mixer until soft peaks form. Add the vanilla extract, confectioner’s sugar, and a drop of purple food coloring and beat until stiff peaks form. Be sure not to over-whip!
    2. Place the whipped cream in the fridge while you make the milkshake.
    3. Make the Milkshake
    4. Place the ice cream, milk, vanilla extract, and a small drop of blue food coloring into a blender and pulse until smooth.
    5. Pour the milkshake into tall glasses.
    6. Place the freshly whipped cream into a piping bag or a zip-top bag and snip off the tip, creating a large, round tip.
    7. Pipe a swirl of cream on top of each milkshake and garnish with a seashell truffle and mermaid tail.
